Bio
I’ve been writing poetry for about 15+ years now; as I reflect, it saved my life, God’s gift to me. Also, Poetry helped me to discover my voice that I'd never used before. I was always, and still, shy and meek. My words on paper spoke for me. I profoundly love and respect poetry on a level some may never understand. I have a B.A. in English. I'm a member of Sigma Tau Delta, English Honor Society.
My goal is to become a Copy Editor/Proofreader for a magazine or publishing company. Ultimately, I want to start my own business providing editorial and writing services. Currently, I am a freelance book editor, beta reader/proofreader on the Goodreads website, and I'm an Book Reviewer on most of my spare time. I know it's going to take some time; I'm willing to put in the work.
Reviews
McGhee's poetry is truly heartfelt. She is very in tune with her emotions and does a great job expressing them within the pages of this book. In reading her work I enjoyed a deep experience.

The Poetic Spirit of Blue;
The Painful Past of Innocence.
Little Girls Blues, by J.N. McGhee begins with the subtle and innocent voice of an undeveloped girl communicating deep feelings of lonesomeness, as she struggles with a silent void, rooted from the impacting and overwhelming reality of life.
We present this book with a 5-star rating. Powerful work, McGhee!

This book change my mind it expression of raw human feeling touch me. As you read each poem, you will be able to relate in some type of way. It becomes very apparent the author really went in herself as she wrote the poems. I definitely look forward to reading more work of the author. Especially with this being her first book, I can only see her getting more vivid with her future work."
